New Studio, Old Studio
I’m in the studio early this morning with a hot cup of Philly’s “Old City” coffee. There’s something soothing and invigorating about the earthy smell of freshly roasted beans.
A great deal of work remains to be done before I’m totally comfortable in my new studio. Life was very busy when we built this house. Even though this area (daylight basement) was originally designed to be my studio… it didn’t happen. Setting up shop on the main floor was just easier.
I’ve chiseled out a nice area surrounded on three sides with windows for my watercolor table. Great light floods in early afternoons. NeNe, my little girl chihuahua, flitters around trying to find her place in this new environment. I guess it will take us both a little time to adapt.
